CHBA SEA TO SKY - OBJECTIVES
- To increase membership to reflect all communities and facets of the residential
construction industry.
- To continue meeting with the Resort Municipality of Whistler to address the
issue of non-conforming spaces. Addressing this issue will allow permits to be obtained and
renovations in many homes be legitimized, thus opening up more work for renovators.
- To offer three scholarships to grade twelve students enrolling in a post secondary
institution to pursue a career in the building industry
- To increase awareness of CHBA-Sea to Sky with local governments, the general
public and other associations, creating further credibility for members.
- To update our interactive website promoting CHBA Sea to Sky. This would allow
sponsor’s logos to be added and monthly newsletters would be available to download at the member’s
discretion.
- To develop a recycling initiative for extra building materials. There is a
need to establish a location where members & the public can bring surplus materials to and
be available to everyone for purchase.
